Job Description

C+R Moto Co. is currently looking for a part-time mechanic to join our dynamic, fun, and family friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorcycles and had above-average knowledge in older machines especially ones hailing from Europe and Japan. Specialty tools are provided. Future opportunity for this to turn into a full-time position in future.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnosis of mechanical and electrical systems, mechanical service work, electrical service work, engine building, suspension service, PDI new machines.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and adjusting the carburetor, adjusting the clutch, brakes and drive chain, and replacing worn parts.
  • Dismantle, adjust and repair or replace mechanical and electrical system parts and component.
  • Able to read and understand service manuals and data sheets.
  • Complete work orders with accurate and sufficient detail to assist with the preparation of invoices.
  • Attention to detail expected.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
  • Red Seal Motorcycle certification.
  • Customer service experience is required.
  • Proficiency with scanning tools, diagnostic flow charts, and wiring schematics.
  • Proven ability to work as a team player and take instruction as needed.
  • Above average communication and problem-solving skills with a positive professional attitude.
  • A self-starter who can work with limited supervision.
  • Adept at multi-tasking.
  • Valid driver’s/rider’s license.
  • Must possess own tools.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
